Injector adjustment questions
We set the required opening pressure and adjust the needle lift, spring and shims. The goal is to bring the injector back within tolerance.
Always, on the bench. The injector is handed back only when its parameters are within tolerance. It is then ready to fit.
A worn nozzle needs nozzle restoration or a full injector repair. A bench test beforehand shows which one applies.
